Dr. Vipin ChaudharyChief Executive OfficerDr. Vipin Chaudhary is the Chief Executive Officer of Computational Research Laboratories (CRL). Dr. Vipin Chaudhary is the Chief Executive Officer of Computational Research Laboratories (CRL). He assumed the CEO responsibility in 2010, with the charter to expand the business of CRL globally. A veteran of High Performing Computing (HPC), Dr. Chaudhary has been actively participating in the business and technology innovation frontiers of HPC for over two decades. His contributions range from heading research laboratories and holding senior management positions to starting technology ventures. Prior to joining CRL, Dr. Chaudhary was with the Center for Computational Research, and the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences at University at Buffalo, SUNY where he was instrumental in securing research funds over $25 million from various government agencies and industry. He has also been very active as a researcher in HPC related areas and has published over 150 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences. Dr. Chaudhary has also been very active in the technology industry where he held senior management positions. He was the Chief Architect at Corio Inc., which had a successful IPO in June 2000. As Senior Director of Advanced Development at Cradle Technologies, Inc., he was responsible for advanced programming tools for multi-processor chips. He has also been the cofounder and CTO of Scalable Informatics, Inc., an HPC solutions company. His entrepreneurial activities include cofounding technology startups Diagnaid Inc., Navivus, and Micass and advising several other startups. Dr. Chaudhary was awarded the prestigious President of India Gold Medal in 1986 for securing the first rank amongst graduating students at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Vipin received the B.Tech. (Hons.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1986, the MS degree in Computer Science, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, in 1989 and 1992, respectively. |

S D Latkar is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of CRL, Computational Research Laboratories Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Limited. Mr. Latkar is a Chartered Accountant by profession and holds a degree in Law. A Tata veteran of 33 years, Mr. Latkar has held various positions in group companies like Tata Steel and Tata Technologies. He has held the capacity of CFO in Tata Technologies, prior to CRL, where he was part of a multiple strategic initiatives. As one of the founder members of CRL, Mr. Latkar has been responsible for charting out the strategic direction during the formative years of the company. |

Dr. Satyendra Rana is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at CRL and is responsible for shaping and crystalizing CRL's positioning in the HIgh Performance Computing space and the growth and expansion of CRL business worldwide through strategic partnerships, innovative solutions and business models. Dr. Rana is a highly accomplished and award-winning IT Executive and Corporate Officer with extensive record of success in product management, professional services, global program management, and startup operations and has special expertise in strategic planning, business-IT alignment, business transformation, change management, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and process innovation. Prior to assuming responsibility at CRL, Dr. Rana established and directed software development and consulting company that effected business agility and transformation through use of technology. He earned Premier CTO of the Year Award from ComputerWorld Magazine as a recognition of his leadership at Exterprise, a B2B market network platform company which he founded and successfully sold to Commerce One. Following the acquisition, he assumed role of CTO at Commerce One, a $20B global B2B products and services technology company. Before venturing out as an entrepreneur, Dr. Rana was with IBM Global Services where he contributed to the formation of IBM's Managed Services strategy and implementation as well as its global roll out. As founding president of TIE Austin,a leading global entrepreneural network, Dr. Rana mentored, served on the boards, and invested in various technology startups. A former faculty member of Computer Science & Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and later at Wayne State University in US, Dr. Rana led many funded researchprojects,supervised many Ph.D and graduate students, and published over 50 research papers in international journals and conferences. Dr.Rana earned his Ph.D in Distributed Computing in 1980 from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India. He also earned a gold medal for securing first rank in the university during his Bachelor's program in Mathematics (Honours). |
