CRL has built a supercomputer called EKA – Sanskrit name for 'one' – which has been rated fourth fastest in the world and most powerful in Asia in top500 supercomputer list announces in SC07. (http://www.top500.org)EKA is the first fastest supercomputer developed by a private sector corporation and the fastest supercomputer available for commercial usage.

The EKA supercomputer uses common off the shelf components along with generic open source software components and industry standard interconnects.
