Dr. Anutosh MoitraDistinguished ScientistDr. Anutosh Moitra serves as head of Aerospace Operations and Distinguished Scientist of Computational Research Laboratory (CRL). Dr. Moitra coordinates CRL’s involvement in India’s aerospace development programs and leads various research teams to generate innovative solutions to problems in airplane design and performance analysis. He is responsible for formulating and executing CRL’s strategies for technological collaborations with India’s aerospace partners. Dr. Moitra’s professional experience spans 28 years at NASA and the Boeing Company in USA. Before joining CRL in 2011 Dr. Moitra was a Technical Fellow at Boeing in the Enabling Technology and Research organization. Dr. Moitra’s contributions to Computational Fluid Dynamics were key to the success of many design projects at Boeing. He has received numerous recognitions and awards at Boeing for leading teams to generate innovative solutions to problems in airplane design and operation. Prior to joining Boeing Dr. Moitra served as a Principal Scientist at NASA Langley Research Center. |

Dr, Suhas PhadkeDistinguished ScientistDr. Suhas Phadke serves as head of Modeling & Simulation Group and Distinguished Scientist of Computational Research Laboratory (CRL). Dr. Phadke coordinates CRL’s involvement in India’s petroleum industry and leads various research teams to generate innovative solutions to problems in seismic imaging and reservoir characterization. He is responsible for formulating and executing CRL’s strategies for technological collaborations with India’s upstream oil and gas companies. Dr. Phadke’s professional experience spans 26 years at oil and gas companies / service companies and research institutes. Before joining CRL in 2008 Dr. Phadke was General Manager with Reliance Industries Limited in the Exploration and Production Business. Dr. Phadke’s contribution to the exploration team led to the discovery of several oil and gas fields in the Indian waters. Dr. Phadke also served as the Programme Coordinator of Scientific and engineering Computing Group at Centre for development of Advanced Computing, Pune; Senior Research Scientist with WesternGeco, Houston; Research scientist with TOTAL, Paris and the Research fellow with Alberta Oil Sands Technology and Research Authority, Canada . |
