Atmospheric Science

IThe weather and ocean modeling methodology is to use the science of fluid flow, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer to model state of fluid at a particular moment of time and use this model for weather forecasting and research. Large computational domain, high resolution, involved complex physics and robust schemes require parallel computing and huge computational power. Weather forecasting, modeling, and research are advancing rapidly with the advent of high performance computing.
